Cookies and local storage

1. What this notice covers

This Cookie Notice applies to the BreezeType website and explains the cookies, local storage values, analytics tags, and similar browser-side technologies used there.

2. Essential, preference, and referral storage

BreezeType uses browser storage to keep parts of the website and account flows working. Based on the current website code, that includes authentication and browser identifiers, language preferences, referral and source tracking values, and first-visit state for certain interface flows.

  • Authentication and request support, such as the AUTH_TOKEN_ID cookie and a browser identifier used to distinguish requests.
  • Preference settings, such as the NEXT_LOCALE cookie and local storage values used to avoid repeating some onboarding or informational prompts.
  • Referral and campaign values, such as source, referred_by, referral_slug, and referral_time cookies when they are present in the URL or account flow.

3. Analytics technologies

The BreezeType website currently loads Google Analytics through gtag.js to measure traffic, page views, and conversion-related activity. Those technologies can set or read cookies and similar identifiers on your browser.

BreezeType uses these analytics signals to understand how people find the site, which pages are used, and where the website needs improvement.

4. Your choices

You can control or clear cookies through your browser settings. You can also sign out of your BreezeType account, clear local storage, or use browser tools and extensions that block analytics scripts or cookies.

Blocking or clearing some storage may prevent the site from remembering your login, language, or referral state, and may cause some pages or account workflows to behave differently.

5. Do Not Track signals and updates

The BreezeType website does not currently change all tracking behavior in response to browser do-not-track signals.

If BreezeType changes how the website uses cookies or similar technologies, this Notice will be updated and the last-updated date above will change.
